Jin Seo Kim
Master's of Counselling Student
Hi there! I am a Master of Counselling student, and my goal is to offer a non-judgmental and collaborative space where clients can explore their experiences. I aim to work with you to examine patterns that you find unhelpful, identify new approaches and coping strategies, and support you as you work towards your goals.
I strive to incorporate cultural humility, anti-oppressive practice, and an appreciation for every client’s unique identity, experiences, and perspectives. I also have a special interest in the exploration of multiple cultural backgrounds.
My therapeutic style is informed by a variety of approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment theory, narrative therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and solution-focused therapy in order to personalize therapy to your needs. I am offering individual services in the areas of anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, cultural identity, relationship concerns and self-esteem.
If you think we may be a good fit, please feel free to reach out and I would be happy to find a time to connect. Looking forward to meeting you!
Jin Seo is currently offering in-person and online appointments.
Please note that online therapy is only available for individuals living within the province of Alberta.
